Institute of Evolution and Ecology
Welcome to the
Institute of Evolution and Ecology
At the new Institute of Evolution and Ecology we follow integrative approaches to address a broad range of research questions in organismal biology (see below). We teach in the Bachelor and Master degrees in biology, geo-ecology, and biochemistry and provide extensive individual research opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students (see details on the home pages of the constituent groups).
We are part of the Evolution and Ecology Forum Tübingen (EvE), a meeting platform for scientists working in the broad field of evolution and ecology. The institute comprises six groups.
Director: Prof. Dr. Heinz-R. Köhler (Animal Physiological Ecology)
Vice-Director: Prof. Dr. Katja Tielbörger (Plant Ecology).
